This presentation will explore how GenAI technologies can revolutionize the way languages are taught and learned, with examples demonstrating effective uses for both teachers and students. Additionally, the challenges and concerns of educators regarding these changes will be addressed, and practical ideas and strategies will be provided to make the most of these innovative technologies in their classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Biograf\u00eda<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doctor en Ling\u00fc\u00edstica Aplicada por la Universidad de Edimburgo, Escocia. Es profesor titular del Departamento de Educaci\u00f3n Ling\u00fc\u00edstica, Cient\u00edfica y Matem\u00e1tica de la Facultad de Educaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de Barcelona (UB) y colabora en el Instituto de Desarrollo Profesional (IDP-ICE) de la misma universidad. Ha sido director del m\u00e1ster en formaci\u00f3n de profesores de espa\u00f1ol como lengua extranjera (UB y Universidad Pompeu Fabra) y codirector del formato a distancia durante muchos a\u00f1os. Actualmente, es el investigador principal del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n realTIC. Sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n se centran en temas relacionados con el uso de la tecnolog\u00eda en la ense\u00f1anza de segundas lenguas, las metodolog\u00edas activas como la gamificaci\u00f3n, el desarrollo de la competencia digital del profesorado, y el potencial de la inteligencia artificial generativa para la docencia.
